Ubuntu Takeover, 12 Feb 2013LOL true. They want the updates and brag that they are tech... moreyou said it yourself VERIZON galaxy nexus NOT GOOGLE galaxy nexus. The Verizon one was never truly a nexus device, the LTE mean't carrier lock-in. Same reason why the nexus 4 didn't get LTE (officially)

It is very sad to see that we android users has to root our phone and risk damaging it anytime a new android update is release. The OTA update is not readily available in some locations. Can't android learn from ios and update similar way like ios where all you need is to touch the update button and you are good to go. ANDROID be CAREFUL there is big competition out there. You have to look into this issue , is very important. Thanks.

On THREE devices only? Fragment OS. It's just sad how majority of android users still need to "root" their phones and risk bricking just to get an update by installing unofficial and unsupported roms from online forums. Shame...

I've made the update on my nexus 7.. no changes in running, however I didn't have the opportunity to test the bluetooth..

Vidafone Romania still has to roll out jb 4.2 for gnexus, the current version is 4.1.1. So probably in 6 months I'll receive the 4.2.2 update. :|
