03 August 2022
Even though it will still use Samsung's 25W charging system, the charge curve has been retuned to reach 50% faster.

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2022LoL what a lame comment. 2012 called, they want you back. I... moreHey man, my phone charges at 40W(Mate 20 Pro) and its battery has degraded by about 5% or 6%. I probably gave him more than 500 charge cycles, but typically charge when I don't need a full charge I only plug it for 20 or 30 minutes to keep him in the 10-80 range. And that's battery technology from 4 years ago. These guys just don't even know how to charge their phones properly at 5W, probably they burn 20% of the capacity in 2 years and then cry talking about how fast charging will make it worse when they probably never had a phone that had it.

In 5 years of using fast charging speeds I never damage my battery. If you don't know how to take care of battery you are going to destroy it without fast charging.

GregLu, 03 Aug 2022Victus isn't possible for the foldable screen 🤗 (Need ... moreMan many things were impossible in past and look where are we now.
In past people believed is impossible to fly now we can fly even to hyperspace.
In past people believed is impossible to reach deeps such as Marianna trench now its not that hard.
In past people believed earth is flat now everybody (maybe apart minimum of individuals) knows its circle ball like shape and moving around the sun which represents centre of milky way not entire galaxy like in past and not opposite where sun is moving around the earth like people were believing.
Not long ago people did not known about the atoms now we have even smaller units smaller than Protons, Neutrons and Electrons units known as Quarks and a research centre known as CERN in Switzerland.
I could continou because i like to write long articles but noone will read it. But Mark my words soon or later but with capabilities of current technology sooner than we expected it will be possible..

Now putting Victus on inner screen sounds like impossible but corrning is here for 171 years now. Industry, Technology, Glass & Ceramic Materials, Founded 1851; 171 years ago as, Bay State Glass Co., Founder Amory Houghton, Headquarters Corning, New York, U.S.

I can assume that people will find something as always. Human brain have endless possibilities and options. CPH4 is one of them one of easy way helpers but with negative consequences but it can works.
Many else soon or later will be researched and used as always.

25W plebeian charging on anything premium is an heresy.

When you're in a hurry and nearly out of juice, having to wait 30 minutes just to top up half the cell really is a pain.
Especially when you know devices half the price would be fully charged in half the time.

I don't understand what Samsung is doing with their ridiculously outdated chargers and charging speeds even for their most premium devices.

Until the fold gets built-in s-pen and 10x periscope lens, I`ll stick with the ultra. The fold always seems like a downgrade in every aspect with the exception of the inner big screen

It's naive to expect a folding display to use any GG this early in development. Maybe with Fold 6 or 7, maybe.

It'll be Fold 4 and Flip 4, the Z letter will be dropped 😉 (At least in Europe, mainly because of RU and the use of the letter Z)

Glass is glass. They can use Victus ++++ but it will still break easily. Yet another failed glass from Corning

Some leakster named Ahmed posted this:

Also, apparently, camera algorithm and main camera have been improved noticeably. Along with the 3x zoom camera.

Last time Samsung put a Victus+ on a phone (S22), it cracked right on first drop. Gimmicky glass protection on gimmick flagships

"In our tests, half an hour of charging pushed the battery of the 2021 foldable only to 33%."
That's not true, mine charges a lot faster, in half an hour it easily charges about 50%

Sadly these are useless upgrades. Price is also way to high for what you are getting. It's pretty much just a Fold 3 with some minor tweaks. Camera and image quality won't be notably better than on Fold 3.

Also the useless Under display camera is an atrocity and people who pay that amount of money for a phone shouldn't have to be beta testers on Samsungs failed tech.
