Frankly they're just panels, you look for your own content anyhow, but a sufficiently big, modern(as in current-gen) screen, and matching audio, absolutely cannot be substituted by tiny handhelds. Handhelds provide an inferior experience so once probably has more time to divert, of course.

But for about 4 years they're just gathering dust and are unplugged. There's nothing interesting on TV and to be frank, I got bored of watching 1 hour or even more of commercials for a 20 minute TV show. While the news are desperately trying to horrify us.
On the internet I can choose what I want, when I want. Also, since I've stopped using the TVs, my life got a lot better, I'm not a potato couch anymore and actually started exercising and doing sports.
And I still find the phone as being the best thing to use. I can use it anywhere, anytime, even in my bathtub. After a few days of using it, you get used to the smaller display. Now I kinda dislike big screen TVs.

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2022Just because you don't use TV doesn't mean others... moreIt could mean that the guy's not very well off. >75" screens are gaining popularity and the low price of the panels mean that for me 75" is the minimum for a bedroom(it's pretty far from one end of the bed to the other) and 98" for a proper living room or home theater. No reasonably priced projector could even touch a middle-of-the-road FALD miniLED in terms of contrast, maximum brightness and illumination homogeneity, so large panels are the only proper way to enjoy high quality HDR video sources. Tiny phone screens are of course out of the question.

discovery is like MTV today: back then it filled with interesting programs, you could learn a lot, now its 50% fake biding programs where some guys buy trash and rest is tik-tok like programs about basic things with people that pretend to be scientist...
So, no No one care about it.

Strange that enormous loss. I prefer HBOmax over Netflix actually, or Prime for that matter. I have all three.

It's been 4 years since my TV saw any electricity. Are people still use them? I do 90% of the things on my phone and the other 10% on PC.

As Hbo Max customer i hope price will not go up because discovery plus has nothing for me.

I'm surprised, I always thought HBO Max performed really well since its transition from HBO GO. Here in Brazil at least, it's the best streaming service we have. Such a shame, I'm afraid for the HBO Max Original shows...
