This very sad, where might be the problem??? Is it because of windows phone??? Lack of apps??? lack of free apps in store? Or is it beacsue of android is just better??? I am still thinking Nokia should have gone with MeeGo, with their own OS just like RIM (blackberry) did...just like they did in past with Symbian

wp is growing(and undoubtedly its the future),but not fast.most of wp are still at 7.8.
Nokia must reconsider meego(that was quite sexy),and see the response to bb10,it has swipes derived from meego-and z10 is getting more response than 920 in some parts of the world-meego could have given more cash-immediate need of nokia, watching the response to the same styled bb10(though it focuses somewhere else).personally i wud prefer an N9 over any lumia,be it even 920.

AnonD-74728, 12 Feb 2013How is this a good restructuring of a business idea? EVERY ... moreThe thing is, i think, that this is a quite smart idea for them. Nokia is selling in Europe and buying in China and other parts of Asia. Europe buildings are expensive to maintain and... i'm pretty shore Asia is cheaper. All manufacturers are in China, Nokia is just in the moving process to cut the big loss of having all it's factories and Bureaus in Europe. While having factories and everything in Europe was great when Nokia was the leader and and we all lived happy, now it's not such a good idea anymore, even though Nokia had always said they will never move to Asia. The cheap crapp market we are in right now, makes it hard for Nokia to keep it's promise. Allot of crap selling at high price and 300% profit for a crapdevice, forced Nokia to think twice to move, minding the fact that they could not lower their prices. To build something in Europe is not cheap. A Nokia worker had from 1500 to 3000 euros in Europe, while in china has a maximum 200. And i am being generous here. You do the math.

I don't know what is their true intentions... first their HQ and now another property.
Perhaps they think their building is old enough and no longer safe? Or planning to build new building?
        Or else?...
To be honest, everybody prefer OWN a building than paying rental costs every month or every year.

I'm no longer using Nokia phones, not a Nokia fanboy either, but I don't want to see them vanish.....

I hope that nokia will not choose android. I had been using android for a year now. N frankly,it is not that great. Its great because it got so many apps that all. Now im using lumia 920 with wp os. I find it more stable n user friendly.i will still buy even it runnng wp os.

ignorance in the market wid consumers looking to purchase plastic phones than something thats reliable and wonderfully built like nokia phones is the reason we would soon say bye to a great manufacturer

Stephan Eloop will soon sell his mother. The people who own Nokia fire him, and let nokia became the moust wanted smartphone with Android, just like once was with Symbian!

How is this a good restructuring of a business idea? EVERY body knows that owning property is the best form of business. Not renting.... Instead he should be renting out.... Elop is restructuring to sell the company. . .

AnonD-82756, 12 Feb 2013Its just restructuring its nothing to be worried about.Keep saying that. Nokia selling their properties and leasing them is good for a short term, but in the long run, its not going to be good. Besides, theres no need to sell properties if theyre not desperately in need of money now. I guess their lumia line is not giving them enough profits.
