Grey Wolf, 07 Aug 2022You don’t need an iPhone to be an Apple fanboy. What make... moreThat's... not how that works lol. But you do you and keep twisting words to bracket people into tiny boxes you defined by your bizarre definition. Owning just one product and praising its benefits that are total garbage on competition is literally the opposite of being a fanboy. But you sure do sound like an absolute Android phone fanboy so there's that.

My old Microsoft Lumia works too, would I praise it? No, Lumia brand is dead. LG is dead.

What makes you an Apple fanboy is l*cking the boots of Apple in every comment on arena and fighting with anybody who says just a tiny bad thing about Apple.
Even if you never had an iPhone, you will still be an Apple fanboy.

Probably next year, after 2 weeks of owning the S23, you will come on arena and rant about how bad Android is and how Samsung is so inferior compared to Apple. You will return your S23 and grab an iPhone and then say to us how the iPhone feels 10 times better than your S23. Lol.

Is this really the logic you guys are running? Who says you're going to instantly notice an issue? Or do you want to "notice" it months later when someone finds out security issue in old outdated Android version allowed apps to hoard your personal data? That's why security fixes are released and it's why they need to be applied regularly.

If I can run the same apps and everything is just ok, why should I change it? Of course, it can't run the latest games but I am not a mobile 'gamer', I have a PC for that. About security updates, I've never encountered a problem with that.

Also, longevity of software support can have it minuses too. Using a 5 or 6 years old phone with new software support is not the same with using a 1-2 years old device with same software.
No matter how good a software support is, aging hardware is aging hardware. Imagine using an iPhone 6s or iPhone SE1 in 2022, just because they have the latest IOS 15. Lol. Say hello to 2h of SoT.

Also, Samsung and Google offer the best support. That doesn't mean is the only support.
Majority of Android companies offer 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates on their flagship models. Or 2 years of software support and 3 years of security updates on their best mid-rangers.
Doesn't matter on low end models, because people buying sub 250EUR phones don't buy them for software support in the first place.
Yeah, they aren't Apple, but still, 3-4 years is enough support for majority of people. How many people do you know with phones older than 4 years? I don't know anybody.
