Good phone and improved bt can't inthe game of folds Samsung failed to defeat Huawei mate X, Huawei mate X2 and still Huawei mate Xs 2 remains a champion, not only that check huawei pocket against galaxy flips!!!! 😂😂😂😂, US beafs over China did us consumers very bad coz huawei phones are also expensive bt still can't buy galaxy fold and leave Huaweis foldables, yeeesss

Small screen, 07 Aug 2022I still dont get it whats the meaning of having a foldable ... moreYou can't really fold phone in any meaningful way to actually get larger display for watching movies because all the folding phones, when unfolded are more square and all the movies are wide rectangular shape. Meaning you literally gain nothing. Hell, you don't even gain anything for TikTok where stuff is the same, just vertical. So in the end folding phones only really make sort of good use with apps that support them and web browsing, assuming webpage isn't super narrow and vertically designed.

You could have 7inch device with 118cm squared, and have a tab of 7 inch with 142 cm squared.

They want new customers. Also, what redesign are you expecting? It's a square/rectangle. How much different can they make it? Samsung is trying to refine their foldables to instill consumer confidence. Not completely redesign it every year.

The others are just as bad and not really winning anywhere.
Unfortunately samsung and all others have essentially started following the apple way years ago.

Samsung is pretty lazy when it comes to foldables, the fold and flip basically look the same like last year`s. What do they lack that chinese brands (huawei-xiaomi-vivo-oppo) have?! Very strange

Being a ZF3 user since last year, I can say that all those improvements are welcomed. The phone is already almost perfect and the new version is correcting most of the drawback of the previous version (wider outer screen, less visible crease despite not being an issue at all on current versions, new chip, a bit lighter and thinner, improved cameras, Gorilla Glass Victus +, New super UTG...). Moreover we can also expect software and bettery life improcement which are also welcomed. So at the end the updates are still important but do not worth upgrade.
Most of people complaining about the size, crease (again I would like to say that it is not noticeable on current version), price of the Folds will anyway not get it until the price drops to around 1k (which is totally understanble). But people considering getting one should rather rely on people using Folds already.
I will personally wait for the ZF5 or ZF6 before switching but I will definately never get traditional phones again.

I still dont get it whats the meaning of having a foldable phone if the screen size is only 1 inch bigger?! Unless the screen is 9 inch when unfolded i will be skipping these
