Hopefully it has a curved screen like oneplus 8

oh look another Chinese tablet, that's all we need, because that's is never enough of them, meanwhile compact phones with decent cameras and God forbid jack...

            OnePlus became OneMinus.

OnePlus is no longer OnePlus. I don't know what it is anymore.. what a shame

75% people hate oneplus 10t. Why oneplus don't understand that they need to change at this point of time to good old days.

The problem for near stock Android in China though is that it's not that popular

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2022Gonna make an event for the same device that had event days ago? Yeah, it's the China launch. It was due to take place on the same day as the global launch but was postponed for political reasons

                      Was that flagship specs?

Oneplus has fallen. Back in 2014, Oneplus emerged as a brand for enthusiasts. They were known for making cheap phones w/ flagship hardware and third-party-ROM-friendly devices. Now they are rebranding as much as possible and releasing poor products.

You can say that Oneplus peaked at OP7Pro when they went mainstream. Going mainstream means raising prices, focusing on marketing, and abandoning (at least partially) many of their die-hard fans. In China Mainland, they cancelled H2OS, previously the main selling point. It is hard to find a clean stock Android phone in China, and Oneplus was almost the only choice if not to flash a third-party ROM.

Now, they are using Color OS, and the oversea O2OS is just a skin over Color OS. Their recent phones have nothing to do with their heritage. They are just the same as other BBK phones from OPPO and Vivo.

A similar thing happened to Xiaomi in 2019. However, they have a lower-end Redmi for the transition.
