I am so glad it's not amoled, as amoled glows, and it's incredibly annoying in the evening (at least for me, I had amoled watches before).

Sleep-tracking is their only weak point. Apple beats everyone for accuracy in independent testing, but unfortunately, its battery life is not practical for most who need a reliable sports watch. Garmin is the best compromise available and this is their top-of-the-line model. If you don't like the Enduro's price, buy a cheaper model, they have an extensive line of generally good trackers.

There is a clear difference between a 1 day phone replacement and a smartwatch that act as a companion ... with month worth of battery life.

Always depends on your usage, unless you need to track this and that, you can buy MiBand 6 NFC and even pay with it.
If you want best out of all word you buy yourself smartwatch that suits you and Polar 2 cheststrap for accurate heart rate measurement (if you need one).

It cannot cost 150€-$, because everything in Garmin watches is custom made. The screen, the battery, casing, ARM+GPS soc, ConnectIQ app store, etc. I would like to see an E-ink display, would lower power consumption drastically.

Even at that price, they can't seem to trim the bezels to add more screen real estate to the device. The big black ring of 'nothingness' around the screen surface is a crime that demands punishing.
