this gives me a huge incentive to buy a Fold and subscribe to Care+... NOOOOOOOOT 😂 I'd love to buy a Fold but not if the screen cracking problem isn't resolved 🤷‍♂️

They foldables are useless at their current state. They break after 6-8 months and need costly repairs. Also the Fold 3,5 is not worth getting at all due to the mountains of bugs and errors and ofc the absolutely hideous crease. Maybe the Fold 12 will be ok to purchase if they have reduced the price by a huge margin.

Got z fold 3 kast year. After 8mths One day unfold the phone to watch on inner screen and screen protector started delaminating itself and screen it self started cracking in middle. Now they want £400 to repair out of warranty and apparently it happend due to physical impact. If u have one do not peel the screen protector as it will invalidate warranty. Also as soon as u notice anything happening with inner screen report straight to samsung and take pictures and videos of it as evidence. Will never buy any foldable phone again. Very disappointed.

Still wouldn't buy one. I'd rather take the 11" Tab S8.

The problem is that when your device breaks you loose a lot of time waiting for it to be repaired and not only screen replacement cost

wait.... people are willingly pay 11 bucks for... what really? that that care+ give you that cost 11 bucks PER MONTH?

This is just an american problem.

In my country (Indonesia), any Z Fold series buyer could get Samsung Care+ 1 year for free + dont need to pay services charge (aka free) for every repairment.

I've had the Zfold since their launch, I have to admit, they feel lovely but too much busy with care and weight! I'm thinking of going back to my old note series now. Z FOLD is fancy at an expense.

Essentially why I'm not yet buying into the foldables. I love the idea, but it's not really something that's ready yet. Usable, yes, but too fragile. My brother has the Flip 3, and just accidentally dropping the phone for like 3-4 inches above ground already gave a black circle splotch on the screen. You can't tell me to just not drop it because that's absurd.

Maybe in 2-4 years when the technology matures more, it's when I'll get into choosing them instead of the traditional phones.

imagine how complex this phone has. it would be complicated to repair. not just costly.

                                    11$ per month?😅
So i rather buy a regular flagship that works just fine and has a good battery life and has no need to repair the screen after 1 year or so!
Foldable phones are not mature yet to use as a daily driver
