blue, 11 Aug 2022The king who would be only better than Razr, as the previou... moreActually from multiple reviews from multiple different sources samsung are just the mainstream "safe" choice, generally others make better featured phones or better phones in general (better battery, better and more cameras, better build materials, better hinge designs with less visable gaps/crease on screen).
Pretty sure (last time I've checked and looked at phone deals) in UK the only foldables networks sell are the Z flip and fold, nothing from anyone else (so you have no choice but to use them).
P. S. Samsung still years behind vivo for under display cameras (I'm sure it's vivo who were the 1st to do it)

Samsung must learn from this Xiaomi's Mix Fold 2 and go back to design room...I feel shame for Samsung!!!!!!

Of course not everyone have the same buying power, but China mainland alone is still enough to keep sales strong.
Would it be stronger if they added the rest of the world? Probably not considering the stigma around China in general. So why should they bother?

Really nice overall, but a bit extra thickness for cameras to fit something truly premium needs to start becoming the foldable standard if they don't want to start pricing them more similar to non folding top models. If I pay more than some ultra or whatever device for a foldable I shouldn't have to compromise on zoom camera.

Why is it almost like periscope zooms aren't allowed on folding devices. We have like 2 or 3 so far out of the now pretty large number of devices released. Sorta get this for lesser priced folding devices...but anything over like $1500 folding screen or no, should now have a periscope zoom and 5-10x optical.

Mediocre cameras compared to the Fold4, the thinner frame will make it less durable especially since it's larger than the Fold4, no IP Rating, the thinner frame will also affect the hardware including the camera lenses (worse in quality and maybe worse heat management?) and global availability is limited.
The Mix Fold 2 looks nice, and I like the larger size compared to the Fold4. But, not too sure of it's quality.

Although 8999 seems cheap, Xiaomi's products sold overseas were already too expensive compared to those sold inside China.
For example, the xiaomi 12 Pro was $300 more expensive than the price of China.
