Chris B, 13 Feb 2013Nope...sorry...its just above entry level....benchmark it a... morehave to agree with you. if these companies really want market share, you would think they would have done their homeworks and would have found out what most people want or need. yet they keep sending out phones that have entry level specs with a mismatched price tag.

It does indeed loke a bit like the iPod Touch, which is exactly why I like this phones design! Would be good to know if the back is made of metal or just of some look alike plastic. If the former is the case, I'm a potential buyer!
P.S.: You can't compare every phone around $300 with the Nexus 4. Alot of people want a more compact device (including me), it's not always about the biggest and most powerful for the money. Also the street price of this phone is most likely going to be much lower than $300.

What a joke? i would rather go for lg nexus 4 or huawei honor 2 which cost 300$ or less.

Some european stores already shows this onetouch star 6010d (dual sim) in their catalogs - although not yet available of course - at a price around 180-190€ (240-255$)

Nope...sorry...its just above entry level....benchmark it against the Nokia Lumia 620....similar specs....same crappy battery and android is a thirstier platform than windows...

I fail to understand how manufacturers hope to take market share from the opposition....by putting out less attractive products from those they are competing against.

I'm not an Apple Ultimate Fan (I still use 4S 'coz I hate 5 and Tim Cook) -- And also, I have both Symbian (PV808) and Android (Nexus 4) phones too, but this time I just got to say this:

That looks like an iPhone 5-ish thingy. O_O

$315 is NOT good price, not for those specs. I just think this is a ploy to hike the prices of the idol line when it's finally released.

unforgiving pricing, only google should sell android devices and the OEMs should fire their R&D and marketing departments and use only their facilities to make profits

Low price at a fair quality and good performance. I cant say anything bad about the brand considering the price. Only.low.popularity.
