Lol, no it won't. It's a fancy novelty to flash around in front of friends, but practically, it's a very niche device. Especially the Fold models which are still huge when folded, have fragile displays and when unfolded, they have a weird square display aspect which doesn't fit much of content well (especially not movies in their wide formats).
The flip, maybe if you can't fir long phone somewhere and folding it solves that. But it's thicker and still has fragile display, at least doesn't have the aspect ratio limitation. Regular bar smartphones aren't going anywhere imo.

not in a million years! practicality and costs are two flaws that makes foldables not able to pass smartphones in daily use.

I think the fold 4 and flip 4 sales will show the future of foldables. I wonder who will buy these new models when they are more or less same than 3 which haven't really sold that much and the foldable market is really small. So where to get the growth.
I have a feeling this year foldable sales will disappoint.
