Anonymous, 17 Aug 2022I'm running CCA C10 with the KZ AptX HD cable and that... moreWhat you're running is just a tethered to a neck band, non-anc, entry level IEM.

If you're happy then great! Enjoy what you have!

However, some people really want and benefit from much better sound quality, ANC and all it's benefits, transparent mode and it's benefits, IEMs that are truly wireless (TWS) which means not having the neck band tether of your setup, etc.

It appears your setup is about $60, and in that rough price range I'd recommend the EarFun Free Pro 2 (about $80). They're a nice size come with tons of accessories to tailor the fit to lots of different ear shapes/sizes. They also have OK anc (not the best but decent overall and very good considering their price) and transparency modes. No need for earhooks, dangling wires, neckbands, they have better total runtime, are a more pocketable form factor, etc. Just surprisingly good sound and features for not much more than your setup.

Up a step from those I'd suggest the Liberty 3 Pro. These have very nice sound and even better anc, though I will say they're larger and therefore may be too big for people with really small ears. At $130 they're a noticeable step up in sound quality and features.

Up from there you're into top tier type TWS choices. The AKG N400 are really good and can be had for (on sale) $130 (though it appears they're being discontinued and I'd guess a replacement will be coming out in the next few months - they were on sale for $48 back a few months ago, and at that price they were the best audio purchase option of 2022).

Also highly regarded are the Samsung TWS options (also tuned by AKG, which in turn is owned by Harman, known for their high quality audio products for decades), and these Buds2 Pro will almost certainly be a great choice (though they cost more than the AKG's). Finally, another TWS that gets good praise (though not as universally praised as the AKGs or Samsungs) are the Sony 1000XM4 ($250). Personally I'm not a fan of the Sony sound signature, but their ANC is as good, if not better, than everyone else's so I mention them for anyone that likes Sony audio.

I'll end by saying, if you're happy with what you have then leave it at that and do NOT go down the rabbit hole that this hobby leads to! Sometimes ignorance truly is bliss!
(says the guy currently with 20+ IEM's/TWS's, countless headphones, dongles, portable DAC/Amps, desktop DAC/Amp stacks, 100's of eartips, too many cables, lots of headphone pads, monitor speaker setups in multiple rooms, various audio components collected over decades, etc....)

Kev, 16 Aug 2022Stock is difficult to find, but the TWS that seems to deliv... moreI'm running CCA C10 with the KZ AptX HD cable and that solution isn't perfect but so much cheaper it's hard to see the appeal of TWS buds anymore. Everything I tried was mediocre, especially the overhyped Melomania 1+, truly garbage for what they cost.

you have to suffer, 15 Aug 202224 bit sound in bluetooth still sound the same😂😂😂 i'd ... moreStock is difficult to find, but the TWS that seems to deliver the best sound is apparently AKG N400NC TWS, the MSRP is 150 dollars. I'm not kidding, finding some is incredibly difficult, but if you do, you get the best sound in a wireless earbud package WITH noise canceling.

But if you wanna keep your precious wallet intact, just step down to some Koss KSC75s/Moondrop Chus. These are wired, but offer superior sound to almost any wireless offering at just 20 dollars, 30 if you need to purchase a dongle.

Too expensive for indian market. They're still chasing discounted studio beats XD

I expected more other than a matte finish; which I like btw, specially in black, but not enough to purchase them at full price, will wait the drop around 130-150 in a few months! 🌞

24 bit sound in bluetooth still sound the same😂😂😂 i'd rather invest in better headphones with least better anc. dont tell me about airpods max since it costs as iphone 11 or s21. just recommend me any headphones under $90-250 range.

As always idiotic prices. One should ask Samsung that why one would buy yours when you are nowhere near the quality of Sony, Jabra, Sennheiser and Bose if you are asking this much price from customers?
