Inflation is primary reason for these sales declines. Secondary reason could be not much changes in hardware capability of phones.

I thought Apple is popular in SEA region because everyone around me use iPhone..lol .. I even consider going back to ios because imessage & facetime and applePay.

Manufacturers - Keep removing useful features like headphone jack, micro SD and charger in box while increasing prices

While Apple is improving in the premium segment.
No wonder, no matter what ever 8+ gen 1.. it still lose to A15 chipset.
A15 can run Genshin at 10fps better than nowadays 8+ gen 1, at much much lower battery drain.
Why buy a large midranger, or high end flagship when a A15 can defeat them all?

Most of samsung user here dont need to buy new phone for the next 2-3 years because still getting updates until the end of 4th year (End of 5th year on newer models)
My Galaxy A51 from 2019 will get Android 13/One UI 5 next year, and i would definitely pick samsung phone again as my next new phone.
