They blamed Instagram and Facebook apps, but I know from owning one for a few weeks that their stock launcher is also a culprit. Maybe give them 6 months or a year to see if they've gotten their software department in line.
Their hardware and feel is quite decent though, I'll give them that. Just a teething issue seeing they're relatively young to the smartphone market.
That said....this is a pretty underwhelming phone. You'd think a phone in the Reno line --marketed for their photo quality would use an SoC with better ISP. I know from owning an SD 680 that the ISP isn't capable. Good for snapping occasional pics like just showing where you're at to a friend but not exactly "camera phone" quality.
