The phone is manufactured in India. What has Fx fluctuation to do with it? These are just lame reasons for increasing the price. Atleast their PR team should come up with better yarn of stories to defend themselves.
I bought this phone during the first launch and it's nowhere near my expectations. On top of it this price increase is not gonna help them any which ways

Let them increase the price, and get the hell out of the market anyway. Their product was already overpriced. Oppo/OP/realme has much better value propositions.

Still cheaper than other countries but the availability is still an issue. I can't seem to find the phone (12GB RAM version) anywhere here in Saudi or the UAE

People....BIG DEAL. In other words, a phone now costs 427 dollars instead of 414 dollars. Stop assuming that the phone is now 499 instead of 399 pounds.

I realize that I've done nothing but defend the Phone 1. But at the same time, the bashing is unreal.
