Despite that MagicUI looks alike EMUI from Huawei, it's outdated, lacks many features compared to EMUI. Also i don't like how Honor and Huawei smartphones process photos, pale colors, bad HDR, too much contrast so shadows are crushed. Would better go for Oppo or Realme, Even Xiaomi is better.

Honor 70 is a good midranger of course. Maybe the best. And it looks like a flagship really. I hope honor and Huawei can survive these hard times and back to competition. They really made great camera phones.

I live in Paris, France...and I can see that on the official hihonor.fr website Honor if advertising lunch in my contry of the Honor 70 the 02/09/2022 at 18h pm...
The prices and all the details are keeps secret but I guess it will be a 5G smartphones and the prices will be less or more the same than the Honor 50 last year (around 400 or 500 EUR depending of the storage /ram variants)...
3 colors will be available one of them will be exclusively available on the official website of the brand....
I wonder if the glass of this phone is a corning gorilla glass this time and if yes what generation of Corning Gorilla glass...

I don't get some people.
Imx 800+ Jn1 ultra wide, 120 hz curved oled, premium build, big battery and fast charging.
The nothing phone also had a 778g but I didn't see nearly as many people complaining even though it's more expensive

Honor 70 is 450$ just like a53(when released)
Yes honor 70 doesn’t offer some features but does the other companies have features that honor 70 have? Like its chipset? Like its ultrawide ? Its display?its weight and material?its main camera?
No all of them offer you some features but not 100%

The point is that Honor 70 is not offering anything new compared to Honor 60, maybe even 50 and it's expensive for such mid-range device. + It misses such features that much cheaper devices already have, never said those devices are better than Honor 70 but they offer something that this don't.

Samsung does offer even on A53/A52s for less money. 3rd no adaptive 120hz display while Xiaomi at least offers some kind of adaptive refresh rate. 4th it doesn't worth the price. 5th It isn't even waterproof or splash/dust proof (i couldn't find the info about IP rates so i'll just assume). Want more?
