Is Motorola not bringing their higher end products to the US? The X30 Pro and the 2022 RAZR. Where are those?
I've had multiple motorolas in the past, the Moto X (2014) with the bamboo back was one of my favorite phones. I'd go back in a heartbeat if they brought phones to market that could rival other flagships

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2022The update cycle and frequency are dependant on market...that is false, if that were the case, the otes of ios would not arrive in some places and when they release it, it arrives simultaneously everywhere on the planet, the same thing happens with google andoid stock, it arrives simultaneously everywhere!!! the Chinese do not like to update that is the explanation, they do not like to spend on development or updates for so many cell phones that all launch

Idk how true it is but I just read somewhere else that Motorola is promising 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates with the phone. If true that's much better than recent! Other than no IP67 and being unfamiliar with the SOC, this could definitely be my next phone.

Offering that SD card would have had me get this phone but it's like everyone is making what is essentially an iPhone. To me, a memory card is the most essential thing to have on a device. If the deice fails then you can just take out the SD card and put it in another device. Simpe. Keep your important stuff on that card and no worries.
However, I have a good feeling some equally good or better phones will come this year and next year that offer an SD card in the midrange U.S. offerings.
