AnonD-27765, 15 Feb 2013Each iPhone introduces something new that was NEVER before ... moreJust a few points to prove you are cuckoo!

The touchscreen Ericsson R380 Smartphone, was released in 2003
The Nokia 6630 was the first 3G phone which was brought out in 2004
The Samsung SCH-S250 came out with a 5MP camera in 2004.
The Galaxy S was the first 4” phone in 2010.

There are many more points you made that are wrong as well.

I don't think Samsung Galaxy S IV will be the most powerful smart phone or most innovative. Only because we now all know that Samsung's REAL flagship phone is now the Note Series. Come August/September 2013, the Note 3 will absolutely thrash most smart phones in features and technologies.

It is like the Note 2 in 2012.

Not to mention that locking down everything to make the illusion of perfect does not = extremely well optimized....it just means extremely locked down.

some very funny comments. Believing bigger screen/battery is actually a good thing.
Android seriously need optimization; i rather have 3.0 inch droids with small battery, that have long battery life with super response time.

Over the years.. every mobile electronics is trying their best to slim down, and here we getting bigger and bigger bloated phones.

Everyone just keeps whining about plastic. Everyone has used plastic and 99% still do. Its cheaper, easier to mold, great with heat, durable, great shock absorbancy, very little interference with signal, light weight, and can easily be quality. It was polycarbonate too, not just some cheap plastic.

No doubt, Galaxy S4 will be the most powerful smartphone in 2013.
It will revolutionalize the smartphone design like Apple did in 8 years ago.
S4 has dual QuardCore 4G RAM with 18MP camera and 5.25inch super AMOLED display.

With decrease in dependancy? Those were only rumors so far. As it stands they still depend on them for SoC, memory, ram, audio parts and such. As well memory for macs and even screens for ipads.
