Pro Max sells more than Pro so if the difference would be smaller people would choose the larger phone 😜

No it's not 😂 most impresssive number is Apple selling 18.5m and still selling more than before, not Google who sold 0.8m 😅

Google has been doing an amazing job. The Pixel 6a is a much better buy than the iPhone SE (2022) and the Galaxy A53 5G. I predict that Google will easily overtake Motorola and take third place.

Mr. Anonymous, 23 Aug 2022Significant enough to be in top 5With only 4 % of the winner's sales. Nothing to celebrate. But yes, it's better than Sony, which is totally dead in the NA.

It is 20 % cheaper than 12 mini and 40 % cheaper than 13 mini. And still keeps a well balanced performance. For many people also keeps the TouchID. iPhone SE is actually very popular even in Europe.

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2022what do you think that profit all day long? we as buyers sh... moreManufacturers make what makes them profit, that's why I talk about it. And it also shows what people really want and care for. Jack? No. MicroSD? No. Charger? No. A hundred new phones a year? No. New design each year? No...
But hey, local kids still cry for those, and cry how the phones are expensive... But the most important markets buy the best. So all the development in the world just confirms that the decisions of manufacturers were correct.

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2022Sad how NA has NO competition due to the de facto ban on Ch... moreIt has, people just don't care about the chinese toys.

The iPhone SE3 outselling the 13 mini is interesting. Obviously, a lower price benefits the SE3. I figure Apple will just keep milking that same design and not make the mini or ones with Face ID become the new SE.

Folks like me actually prefer having Touch ID over Face ID. We don't mind the outdated design with the huge bezels and home button. For someone like me who absolutely hates Face ID and find gesture swipes more useless, I think if I ever got another iPhone, it would always be the SE model.

Declining phone market. Nothing new. Some folks are realizing how destructive smartphones can be thanks to how destructive internet and video games can be. They're all just time-wasting distractions. But the duopoly in the United States between Apple and Samsung is quite evident.

I've already given up on Google when it comes to offering phones. When when we still had Nexus, they never sold well. And when a product is niche, it's hard to get customer support for them. Pixels are really for tech enthusiasts but they don't sell well at all. Selling 5M to 7M is a joke compared to 200M iPhones being sold per year.

Well propably because the sales were still very low, it's easy to grow from zero.

In Europe, with VAT slapped on it, it's ridiculously expensive, flagship chipset or not. Buying year old base iPhone makes more sense. Or even 2 years old one, given how long you get software updates anyway. And yeah, design is getting a bit archaic now with those massive chin and forehead. I was expecting 3rd generation SE to use XR's design since it's now the only model with LCD left and they didn't even do that. Because if SE 3rd gen was actually XR with A15, that would be lit. Must really be the size or something, but then again Mini had more usable display at same physical size...
