If standard / vanilla models stick to A15, it should have
1. main and ultra-wide cams of 13 pros (front facing cam is similiar to 14 pros says the rumor)
2. A15 of 13 pros
3. Improved screen (be it brightness and/or refresh rate of 90 Hz
If it is not, get the 13 pros instead while it lasts imo.

This means that either the use of "retaining" or that of "A14" in the sentence is incorrect. I speculate it's the latter.

Apple increasing iPhone 14 production due to continued market share gains
Analyst Mehdi Hosseini noted that the increase in units is due to “continued market share gains,” and has caused Apple to boost its plans for the December quarter and the second-half of the year to 100M units, up from a prior 88M."
Apple is expecting massive iPhone 14 sales.

Also, A16, what!!!. They skipped A15 or what, and the 14 and 14 max will still use the same A14 ( still a great SoC, not complaining) the pill shaped cutout will be better than the notch for the pros, bringing that huawei look, and the 14 max will be really welcomed for people who wants a big iPhone but don’t want to spent a lot on the pro max ( really appreciated for me, because I still struggle on my current iPhone 11 due to my big ol fingers)

The BIG news for me is that I now have to wait an additional Month into October to update my devices cuz iPad OS 16 is delayed. I like updating my devices at the same time to the newer Operating system. I think the real story is Apple couldn’t handle their one big yearly update cycle. I feel like nobody works at that company. They just spend money and buy corporations. Lol

If iPhone 14 improves heat management, it could in fact sustain performance longer.
I in fact do not like this, as this is something Android side normally do, just build a bigger phone.. cramp more battery.. and say its better without acknowledging its bigger size.
But i guess no choice, chip shortage + TSMC not ready for the next gen.
