Really hope they will purchase EA.
Not a lot of notable western gaming studios they can purchase when Microsoft is gobbling everything up these days.

To me seems very different from any midrange.
They will never give to 5 something 1 does not have. It is like if samsung gives to S22+ something Ultra does not have.

I bet the new Xperia 5 unveil tomorrow will be disappointing. It will probably just be the specs of the Xperia 1 IV with a lower res screen just like before, nothing new or special. Or even worse it will be a downgrade to cut costs the like the 10 IV!

This might not be a strict business sense. Sony could have done this to increase their expertise or game development when it comes to their mobile division.
No, the PS Vita is no longer supported, and neither is PS3. They will phase out support for PS4 in the coming years and focus heavily on the PS5 and Cloud Streaming. It's possible that the PS6 or PS7 is cancelled, and they move to a Netflix-style business for gaming in the next 5-15 years. That's when the threshold will be crossed for having powerful enough Phones, Tablets, Laptops, and TVs.... and fast connectivity with lower latency. It's where MS is headed to, and they have a big headstart.
