Also, I know you Android 12 users have the indicators, but if Apple's LEDs are connected to camera and mic hardware and don't rely on software, then it's better imo.

The air gestures, that after a few minutes made you only want to perform one gesture with the device, that being a throw. Or the early finger print readers, that would read anything except a finger print, There was the early 2k screens that compromised on battery, brightness and contrast. Lets see what else, 3d screens, 4k screens both of which had more compromises than benefits, now folding screens with giant creases down the middle and the durability of toilet paper. Under display cameras that might as well be called under water cameras judging by the output, Under display fingerprint readers that only now are approaching the levels of reliability of the older capacitive types......
Yes I've had my fill of Android 'experimentation' thanks, I don't care who does what first, I only care who does it well.

Reading the comments here, two things quickly become obvious:
1. its important that Android phones had a Pill / cut-out first because of....well reasons 🤷♂️
2. no matter what design Apple settle on, notch, cut-out whatever, it's not going to get a good reaction from the usual suspects who seem to do nothing more that sit waiting for Apple articles to jump all over.
I for one am hoping for an under display camera, cause I want all my selfies to look like they were taken at the bottom of my local lake. Oh wait though, Android has already done that 🤔
