Regularly no reception at all. Samsung S22 ultra

Can Samsung PLEASE stop making updates mandatory? Every update i get nerfs my phone and makes it worse. My camera, battery life and CPU speeds have consistently gone down every month and you cannot block these updates. I miss the days of no updates.

Just look at endless comment sections how everyone is angry why some have the update and they still don't have it after 2 weeks because reasons. That's what users care and it's already bad as it is on Android side and even companies that have the capabilities like Samsung and Google can't seem to be bothered.

SShock, 01 Sep 2022It's not the same chipset just because they are all de... moreApple CPU may have different designs, but they are still designed by Apple. Google older CPU's were made and designed by Quallcom; and now tensor is designed by google and executed by Samsung. So it's a big difference here.

And since they have super long support, they go way back. They just recently dropped iPhone 6s which was a dual core. Now we have hexa core CPU's. They are entirely different designs.

SShock, 01 Sep 2022So? It's probably because the iPhones have the same CPU while Google still have pixels phones with Snapdragon and tensor, when all Google phones will be powered by tensor, all pixel phones will get the updates in the same time, like Apple. Now you are telling me that the iPhones get so many years of updates, yeah but I never seen anything different. No matter how many updates the iPhones get,it feels like nothing changes. I had 3 iPhones.

I heard Google also does seeding that's not t... moreProbably it's not very easy for Samsung or Google to send these updates in the same time because they have phones powered by exynos and Snapdragon. Also Google has pixel phones powered by Snapdragon and tensor. When all Google phones will be powered by tensor,it will be a different story.
