This is due to the open back permitting less pressure inside the hp.
This just let some sound out and people may hear it. I would recomend outside of your home but I guess it will be okay if the people eating it is family of friend

I have 9 pairs of earbuds/headphones. But I've never used open back headphones. I want to buy a cheap semi open back earphones. Model is KZ ED9. Will it be ok to listen in front of people? Thanks.

They are just that good for the money ;) I already tested the OG model, newer one and will probably just buy SE version in the end.

I wonder how good are these headphones compare to my hi-fi man he-x4 planar headphones, would be interesting to see USD 250 headphones to a USD 140 planar headphones

I am not sure of the reviewers aim, 105ohm and Sensitivity at 110db headphones within a mobile phone site, kinda pointless as no phone with 3.5mm unbalanced (except old onkyo dp-cmx1 using balanced output) can drive it to full potential.
However, it's possible with a DAC with balanced output such as ibasso dc06 with balanced output and balanced 4.4mm for sennheiser, a phone could be decent using this method
