And most of the guys I see in the train playing with their phone play simple games such as Piano Tiles (yes a high refresh rate phone is important). Not for demanding games

This has happened on earlier ROG and Blackshark models. A conventional, proper flagship is better. The ROG and Blackshark cannot even beat an iPhone despite the iPhone throttling. The iPhone also uses a better API so textures in some games are better than an Android

Both phones have the same design and cooling system but in the same tests of gaming by Xiaobai, a leading Chinese reviewer, the Xiaomi 12pro dimensity version ran 2—3 degrees hotter than the Xiaomi 12s pro. The exact readings on the two tests were 43.8 and 45.1 for the Xiaomi 12s pro versus 46.3 and 48.1 for the Xiaomi 12 pro dimensity version on the same tests

why can't gaming phone have gaming features and great cooling without sacrificing water resistance, water cooling blocks on desktops isn't a one piece part and its leak resistant. I'm not saying i would intentionally dunk or leave my phone in water but at least i'd have the peace of mind if it accidentally happens, just saying.

Mike, 03 Sep 2022Who cares battery is not removable so u lose Ur 1000 dollar... moreBro this is not an iPhone this is a gaming phone which has features to prevent this, I have a ROG Phone 3 sitting at 97% battery health even with daily hours of Genshin Impact sessions, it has a battery charging passthrough which puts the phone to use wall power resulting in reduced heat reduce strain on battery. Do this same daily session on iPhone for 1 year and your battery would be dead.

I guess it won... moreTechnically, one could make a ribbed structure in the middle of the phone to act as heat convection unit and you hold it on the sides so you never touch that part. Can still be fully water tight. Issue is, when using phone in regular portrat mode, that part would still get pretty hot which wouldn't be too comfortable.
