Dislike camera (both) procesor works slow, i'd like 1/5 stars, no recommendate that phone.

Either you use a punch hole, or no notch (as Sony does), of if no other option is possible a U notch. At least that doesn't soar my eyes when looking at that. Of course, you can't argue about taste but...

They didn't really do rebranding but they introduced the principle of flooding the market with a shitload of different devices that were all similar but different at the same time with some targeted at specific markets while in the end the were released in other markets as well who already had the offering aimed at them...confusing. They also introduced the fuzzy logic of succeeding devices who were not necessarily upgrades, often downgrades due to introduction of new lines.
      On my comment I can say that I made a mistake when saying that the M5 seemed to be a new device compared to the M5s. The M5 is actually nothing more than the 4G variant of the M4 5G. Rather disappointing but not necessarily a dealbreaker.

                I like this phone, certainly the faux leather back. It will certainly do the job. The hardware is certainly not bad. I wished they applied the same back on the M5s so it would not be that obvious that it is nothing more than a rebadged...redmi 10s. At least the M5 seems to be a new device. That's a shame. Not that the redmi 10s is/was a bad device but come on, do not treat your customers as retards. Lately the policy at Xiaomi/Poce is questionable in terms of the shitload of different devices with just different badges and minor differences between them. I know, they didn't invent that, that's thanks to Samsung and LG who started that craze. There is no consistency in the portfolio. While the M4 series where rebadged Redmi 11 and 11 pro devices, the M5 does again something different and seemingly lesser than the M4 series.

                        So those vocal or active enough to favourite the review is a minority

                        But long term many many more could be interested in the phone in the future and may stray on this site for a review

                        Because many times the best smartphone in the world is what's available to a customer and this might just be the only available at the time for many customers

                              U shaped notch and 18W fast charging... Yuck. They could have at least put amoled at this price point. Hard pass on this one. Poco and Xiaomi have been struggling to put well rounded midranger for competitive price this year.

                                That 2MP depth sensor, why?! Xiaomi needs to watch the Frozen because they need to learn to "let it go".

                                Other than that, looking good. SD card, headphone jack, FM radio, glad to see they are keeping all these "quality of life" features at least on the lower range phones.
