I wonder if iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 max get the new pill island screen and the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 plus get the old massive Notch screen?
It might even be that iPhone 14 will be USB type c

iOS and PadOS have unique devices, making it easier to develop apps for that screen size while Android is the same for phones and tablets.
I'm an android guy, but at least I can admit that Apple has better optimized software

Only good outcome is that phones don't rock about with those unreasonably huge camera slabs on the back. Other than that, they serve no purpose.

In my opinion, even though the camera will be probably great, the design is not in my liking. I had a chance to play for a short time with an iPhone 13 Pro and that cameras are huge compared to the rest of the body. Now, that iPhone 14 Pro will have them even bigger, probably it will look even worse. Maybe if you cover the iPhone with some special case, that will somehow mask the cameras dimensions, it will look better.
But, probably the future owners of iPhone 14 Pro models, don't care that much about this.

Most apps are easier to develop for Apple phones, as they do not have so many models and they can optimise the app to work well for Apples iOS. The problem is with android phones there are MANY types. Each manufacturer has their own spin on android with their own UI and hardware. They tend to make a generic version of the app so it can be used on all android devices, this tends to mean that apps are not optimised for the device, which could waist processing power and battery life. This is one of the many reasons Apple can get so much battery life out of their phones, using a battery half the size of an Android device getting the equivalent screen on time.
There are apps which don't have all the features their android equivalent has. For example browsers, but this is intentional as the engine the browser is based on for iOS tends to be that of Safari, this is done due to security reasons.
But past a few reasons like that, Apples apps tend to be better optimised than the android equivalent, so I tend to disagree with the statement that Android is better.

Wonder why manufacturers cant make same outer design with different inside design.

They're not bad anymore but people love to hate on Apple for anything they do. They were crying how Apple will never get rid of the notch, now that they did get rid of the notch, they're complaining how it's not good. They were crying how iOS isn't customizable but after iOS 15 and 16 brought few changes to its customization, they're crying how android had those features for years. You can never please people so screw them 🤷🏻♂️
