                    Shadocx, 06 Sep 2022If this Mate 50E really has a dual camera setup on the rear... moreI'm guessing that one of them is for the camera's Laser Autofocus system. Maybe Huawei blanked off the other one so that they don't have to spend more money on developing a completely different design specifically for the 50E.

                      I'm glad to see the base upper-midrange model get the same main and ultrawide camera as all the flagship variants, so you really don't feel offended by having terrible camera hardware. However, the lack of a native telephoto camera can be a real bummer to most people, including myself.

                        If this Mate 50E really has a dual camera setup on the rear, then why does it have quad lenses on it's camera island?
                        Maybe they listened to our complaints about decorative 5-2 MP sensors, but now it looks like an unfinished product with two empty camera lenses.

                            zaryan, 06 Sep 2022processor is not everything ,the whole package matters Well the package is mediocre battery, no 3.5mm jack, proprietary memory slot and no google services (I had a cousin with a Huawei phone - trust me, the lack of Google services is indeed a huge problem. There wasn't even a way to open certain documents without it).

For normal all day use the perfomance has no differrence but the battery life will be much better on 778.
