Apple is always looking for a feature to remove and then convince people to like it. US telcos have mostly global roaming but some countries forbid it. You put in a visitor SIM or you have nothing.

The performance difference between the Apple A13, A14, A15 are small. Now we have the Apple A16 which is also a small upgrade over the A15. The reasoning Apple gave was also weak, comparing it to the QSD 855 found on the Samsung S10+ is disingenuous... they should be comparing it to the likes of the new QC 8g1+ found on the ASUS RoG 6.
So owners of the 2019 iPhone 11 Max, should still be happy with their devices.
Sure, it doesn't have 120Hz display, 1Hz Always-on-Display, Satellite messaging, and has lower battery life and worse cameras. But honestly it's not too bad, it has like 95% of everything you get on the latest model. If you can get it for one-third the price, it doesn't mean the iPhone 14 Max is three-times better device. Apple has been complacent for a decent while.
The Apple Watch Ultra meanwhile is great. The price is not.
The gain of the iPhone Base and iPhone Plus is sad.
While the loss of the iPhone Mini is very very sad.
It gets harder and harder to recommend iPhones to people. I feel like a 50% discount would barely help sell it to the masses. But they don't care. Apple only wants to cater to the rich community.

Having such sound profile only really makes sense if you have controls to boost certain frequencies with EQ. Which is why consumer stuff mostly targets bass out of the box. It's what people prefer.
For me, these are not interesting because they are silicone tip style earbuds and I really don't like them. Prefer the AirPods 2 hard earbud design.

If I wanted a large screen iOS device (I don't) I'd buy a used 12 Pro Max, they seem to have the lowest resale price among 12 models here in the UK for some reason.
Plenty of life left in them.

The dynamic Island feature looks super cool. Love it the way Apple designers implement this on pill shape notch, very creative. This is the only thing I found appealing.

Don't forget about upcoming Airpods Pro 2 as well. Though it will sound flat. If you want bass avoid it.

It just change the new hold punch by copying from S10 5G and Huawei. Apple's users will say that "Wow Amazing Product. If no charger include but we love our earth." Then they go buy chargers at Apple store then they say "Wow best product".
