This is really impressive in terms of specs. although the price scared me to death. 780 euros? it's about 48K here in philippines. much more expensive than the of Nokia 9500 and SE P900 during their time :O
I still think of having C905 as it's still imaging capabilities are a little better(xenon flash, focus assist, the wonderful BestPic, face detection up to 3 faces ,and the useful 3LED videolight ;) ) given the fact that i love mobile photography as well.

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2008ashame how on earth they copy all from Nokia..the front des... morei8510 innov8's design is very much samsung-like! and the interface, samsung did not copy it, they bought license to implement s60 on their handsets. can't u see? the interface is s60 but has the "samsung touch". know all these things first before you make very biased judgments!

look at that. it does not just focus on camera and video. it also focuses on sound. see, it's got 3D surround sound with DNse 2.0. i don't even know the meaning of that. lol! but i think it's new innovation and it would be great. and optical mouse! wow! the only thing missing is tv-out. gsmarena can you pls clarify if it's got tv-out. maybe your specifications sheet is not yet complete. tv-out is a native samsung feature. samsung is the very first company to implement tv-out on their handsets since d900, and knowing i8510 innov8's multimedia specs, it's hard to believe it won't have tv-out.

which is better? nokia's very own "naviwheel" or samsung's optical mouse?
optical mouse - this takes the form of a touch pad (as on laptops) like control in the centre of the d-pad. it can be used to move around the UI or as for mouse-like functionality in the S60 browser.

All I can say is, it will take a customer so much brand loyalty to nokia to still prefer the N96 over Samsung INNOV8 i8510. Samsung INNOV8 i8510 is the new king now! Nokia's plans are not focused on 8MP camera phones. They are more inclined to developing touchscreen phones for the moment. See, Nokia's future devices are N79, N85 which are still on 5MP, and 5800, the first S60 touch UI.

Well.. I regard xenon on cell phone doesn't work properly cuz of the little charger.. It's good choice to take LED flash rather than to xenon!!
Don't be fooled by the Brand!! We need performance, guyz!!

8 MP camera and still LED flash...hellooo! So useless!Nokia N95 8GB is still the king! It has just the same specifications as the N95 8GB,I think, except more pixels in the camera. And 780 € for this? N95 8GB is a lot cheaper than that!
