Samsungs are bloat mobiles, Pixel 6's were a disaster. Moto sells low and mid range phones here. OnePlus shot themselves in the foot after building a good rep.
Would like to return to android - I left when Pixels imploded with Samsung chips and modems that never worked right.

I laugh back at them for getting same tech for 1/3 of the price...the other day I showed them an article with best camera phones with i-phone and Samsung being in the end of top 10 and they got back to me with some us bullshit one showing them being on top and you guessed it did not include any phone not offered for sale by one of the three major plan providers. :-D

Aierlan, 09 Sep 2022It's basically just for portraits and is optimised for... moreI suppose that sorta makes sense....but to me if you want to keep cost down with only 3 mostly premium sensor/lens combos and still want to demand near top end pricing from the model you need to do something smarter than this to account for desire to do Portrait. Probably what ZTE did by making the main and best sensor 35mm makes more sense. 35mm cropped to 50mm is going to be pretty similar or maybe even better if it's a higher end module generally as the main one. Then have wide and periscope Tele.
I'm not sure either Moto are taking the right approach generally if they really want to challenge Sammy/Apple. They have lost their luster where the brand used to have weight and need a more serious approach in the high end to get it back. And that serious approach needs to go more toe to toe with Samsung at a slightly better value and I'd think Lenovo could pull that off and benefit in the long haul as the brand still is respected. But it's like they'd rather ruin the brand with weird almost compromised efforts at slightly better prices kinda efforts.
Basically they need to be giving Moto devices going after the top Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo stuff.

If the Xiaomi 12s ultra launched in Europe it would be minimum €1,300 and probably a bit more (somewhere between €1,300-1,400). The 12s ultra is around 60% more expensive in China for example

There are loads of simple people in this world and brands like apple, MK, LV etc. know how to capitalize on it. Simple stuff, straight up crap even sometimes, high price due to branding, marketing and loyalty of simple people.
But never mind those and focus instead on making sure you're not one of them. So instead of buying a useless logo on a PoS product, you get the best product suitable for you :-D
