I had bought a Samsung flip exactly two years back. The screen of the phone where it folds is totally savaged now although it has been used sparingly.Cost of changing the screen is INR 37000.This phone has major quality issues and should be avoided

Would love to see a durability face off between the ZFold and ZFlip and other foldables, including drop, dust, and dunk tests, and bending a 100,000 times.
Right now Samsung's usp is interspersed between super fluid interface, excellent durability, water resistance, great sound quality, SPen usability, global reach, GMS, and many dmall things thay have created a great package.
There is always room to further improve the cameras, and many smaller hardware things, but, right now, Samsung is way ahead of the pack. It just needs to ensure a 10 year road map with how to maintain that lead, and ensure that that majority of its phones are foldables in 5 years.

            even a 3DS is pocketable

even the Nintendo Switch if joycons are in another pocket

but phones should feel nice to hold for possibly hours, not +180g, 6.5in behemoths

Eric20, 10 Sep 2022I am yet to identify a use case where I can't carry a ... moreWell, personally I prefer to put phones in my shirt/coat pocket, Flip would be perfectly sized.

However I have other concerns about Flips (especially the price), so now I carry my regular-sized Samsung A52s with a lanyard.

I would rather pay such a high price for normal flagship smartphone than foldable which won't survive more than 2 years of usage

150mm is the sweet spot. 160mm is stretching it too much

                    Zack is overrated...

I am yet to identify a use case where I can't carry a regular smartphone, but only a foldable.

Who has such small pockets in their pants? 🙄
