Maybe the same can go to the Motorola Ready For. I do know both Samsung DeX and Huawei/Honor EMUI/Magic UI Desktop exist long before Android Desktop Mode is even a thing.

Everyone who owns a Chromebook has a Windows PC too. Chrome OS is just too limited to use as the one daily driver

Such a wasted opportunity to show off the ARM-based Pixelbook based off of their Tensor SoC.

Typical for Google to lose focus. It seems like the only thing they have been focusing on the last few years is woke YouTube censorship and woke search manipulation.

Not that it matters since ChromeOS isn't that popular, at least in my country. What I still find ironic though is Google went through great lengths to develop a Desktop Mode feature since Android 10, and yet they still deliberately disable the HDMI ALT video output support on their own Pixel phones. If Google really doesn't want to disrupt Chromebook sales, they may as well not bother developing Android Desktop Mode in the first place.

Makes sense, Google's Chromebook partners are doing a decent job in cheap / affordable Chromebook market. If Google launches a Chromebook, it would be a low speced device with a premium price and performance issues (when was the last time Google released an ARM based Chromebook?). They are trying to compete with Apple's iPad with a worse chip, worse performance and higher price, and very limited support for Android Games. While Apple would equip their iPads with a more powerful version of a Bionic or an M series processor, Android / Chromebook manufacturers would pick the worst chip from 2 years ago, because that's what Mediatek and Qualcomm make. It's the join effort of these chip manufacturers and Google that is dragging down ARM based Chromebooks. Intel is doing pretty nice job there, but their chip don't offer tablet form factor and battery.

The Pixel Notepad is still mentioned as a rumor and has been delayed several times, maybe it will finally be cancelled, which wouldn't surprise me given the low demand for foldable mobile devices.

gaveup on google, NEED a tof face unlock screw fingerprint unlock in summer with sometimes sweaty hands DOES NOT WORK FOR ME I hate to admit it but Apple was right, Faceid is superior but sooo few android phones offer 3d face unlock, honestly the Honor magic4 is the best android phone because it had the ''pill'' face unlock way before Apple and it's smaller, It's a special phone tbh if the US did not boycot huawei with lobbying from Apple then huawei might have been 30%+ market share, iphone like maybe 25-40% rest Samsung and others. Huawei was truly the best but they are being boycotted, stop this bs man.
