Apple kicked them out and a few months later they came crawling back with a version that was better on iOS than any other platform. Also, are you that naive to think that Google doesn't want to make money too?

mordecai, 21 Feb 2013Appple made apple maps so that it can start earning the rev... moreHonestly, it might have gotten bad rep to begin with, cause they are starting fresh.. but Apple Maps is the best looking MAPS I have ever used on any phone.. and I have used it in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Sydney and it works beautiful.. Wait till they get it spot on for those other people.. it will also be the best Map product.. remember my words. It looks so clean, and is so smooth..
PS Get your facts right:
Apple made Apple Maps because Google would not give Apple the same functionality to Apple as Google had on its own phones.. things like vector graphics and turn by turn.. Apple kept asking, and Google kept saying no.. so Apple said "fuck it" and made their own. The what did Google do? Realised the beast they created and gave up the maps straight away. And it looks shit anyway.

They dont want money? Is google on the stock exchange? Are they a massive company designed with profit in mind?
Just because they are NOT as GOOD as APPLE.. does NOT mean they are not there for PROFIT like EVERY other publicly listed company.
Android fans say some of the most STUPID stuff I have ever seen. "Apple is an evil company.." yeah, right.. and Google copied them!! Pieces of plastic shit selling old A9 in ":new S3".

Now i understand why more and more sgs3 users are going for iPhone, samsung touch wiz has huge flaw, you cant copy paste anything. And it looks like samsung isnt going to do anything about that, the flaw has been there for months, typical samsung.

I blame the poor build quality of samsung galaxy s iii and their relentless copying of apple's single button design for this.
If only S3 had a body as elegant as HTC One, I bet it would still be at the top.

Yes, but it was broken always, no tbt nav or voice nav and now iOS users have both of them, thanks to apple which got google scared :)

That's the reason why google had to have their maps on iOS devices, because iOS makes up the majority of mobile internet usage. Without all those iOS users how do you think google would be able to generate large ad revenues? Simply put Google needs iOS users to generate avenue for them. Theres too many of them to ignore.

IOS users have wanted good tbt for years and google didnt want to give it for iOS users, because that would lose their edge about maps, now after iOS6 map solution they right away gave it to for iOS users. Just like i said, after what apple did now we iOS users have what we wanted in first place :) im really starting to think that this was apple plan all the time.
