Because the Note 2 is a Phoneblate. Its in a different league all together. U really need to start acknowledging that the iPhone is a damn good phone.

Don't go assuming that iOS users have never used an android jelly bean device before, because some of us have both and still easily picked iOS over android.

... moreI have used android before but has never lag like that before u must be using symbian and thinking it android than I will understand u bcoz web browsing,gaming and notification scrolling is smooth and responsive the ram and processer is big enough to handle these task even old pc with 500mb ram and 656mhz used to handle fine you must have an eye problem go and get you eyes checked your eyes are the one that have lag in them

Sad to say, not much diff between n4 or note2, in terms of performance.. they are still is behind ip5, i am one of those fools that have bought note2 thinking ram + cores + jb will save the lag, but its not true. But i have to say battery life is good, but in terms of battery consumption its very bad.
If you watch the full youtube video i posted previously, its the same thing.
Like i say, stating you have tons of hardware specs is meaningless when the core logic behind rendering needs to be address on android.. dump specs in is no use.

Hang on a minute. Apple have just combined the 4s & the 5 to beat the S III. So why dont we combine every Samsung phone and see what the total is???????? Bottom line is.... Apple need to get over themselves.

Even the Galaxy Note II with Android 4.1.2 will run circles around the iPhone 5.
EDIT: If i put Android 4.2.1 (even unofficially) on my Galaxy Note as i can, then my old Galaxy Note will be as smooth or smoother than the iPhone 5. It will even be much faster than the iPhone 5 then.

Quite a good balanced review on n4 vs ip5. Personal taste for each devices, rather then degrading one endlessly.

If the videos in my playlist is based out of an Android fanboy, then show me an iOS video that is NOT made by an iOS fanboy.

Come back! be enlightened! The lag in android is everywhere! From android's own google chrome to its scrolling in normal apps like facebook.
The issue is a VERY BIG one, why?
Scrolling is the most basic action you do in mobile.
- gaming .. you scroll
- webbrowsing - you scroll
- utility / notification - you scroll
And if the scrolling is not smooth/ and responsiveness is not smooth .. your entire user experience is affected... Your eyes will hurt tracking the lag and jerks from the UI .. gaming will suffer as you cannot do your actions in a timely matter .. etc etc.
The youtube videos you posted is based on a fanboy like yourself. He is trying to degrade iOS the best he could without actually using it.

So no, iPhone is not best. Maybe is was best back in 2007 and 2008, but not today by a mile.
EDIT: The iPhone hardware it self are great. It's iOS that is terrible.
If Apple could use as much energy on developing iOS as they use energy on suing others and designing the iPhones, then maybe iOS would be good.
