Especially considering that they have 120fps and 240fps shooting rates. And underwater is where action cameras are expected to go too.
                Action cams should have f/1.5 and higher aperture, with built-in NDs, when absolutely necessary in very bright conditions.

                    one of the most common usages of action cams is skiing.you can keep your phone warm in your inner pocket but, action cam is attached to the helmet.that was a necesssary upgrade

                      F2.8 🤦 F1.7 would have been entirely better, F2.8 on this sensor size won't make it that much sharper... And it's like F16 on 35mm equivalent

                        Photos looks lot better than any smartphone would do regardless of a brand and that camera for 300 bucks compared to some flagships with 1200 eur minimum price up to a 2200 per Iphone 14 pro max.
