There were some guys there who upgraded every 6 months from Galaxy Note to Galaxy S phone. Yet they ALSO upgraded their iPhone every year. I've been using Android phones since the Galaxy S2 in 2011. 2 years ago I finally became curious and asked one of the moderators why he bought iPhones. He gave me his reasons. I didn't like the rumoured Exynos Note 20 Ultra and bought my first iPhone. The iPhone 11 Pro Max (didn't like the rumoured iPhone 12 Pro Max battery). I bought the Apple Watch 6 later that year. Liked it so much I sold my 2 Samsung watches. I still prefer my Galaxy Note 10 Plus but carry both phones daily and enjoy using both of them for different reasons. Both my phones are in great shape though I'm waiting eagerly for the S23 Ultra (Exynos S22 Ultra I gladly avoided). It's time to sell my faithful Note 10 Plus.

Apple only releases 4 models each year but still cannot get the software right.
Huawei is doing much better: out of the box stability and long term support.

Baldilocks73, 15 Sep 202216.0.1 is ONLY for the new iPhone 14 models at this point.But they were very quick to fix it, unlike some other companies who take months to fix some issues. This is the side of Apple everyone loves, at least they care.

And I assume that if X and 12 Mini have it now, all should have it.
Also some other people online confirmed all notched iPhones support it now in that beta.

I don’t know if it’s because people who use iPhones as a status symbol are blinded by the company and say “it’s so smooth and fast”, but as an iPhone user, I can kind of see what they mean. They’re consistent with the software, much like Samsung is with OneUI.
Also I love how iPhones get lots of love in the comments on some articles, and then get so much hate in other Apple articles, saying Apple should be sent to the deep depths of hell. It gets to the point where they want to plan an assassination attempt on Tim Cook lol
I know I know, I’m an iPhone 13 Pro Max user in America. Don’t be surprised if I’m super duper biased 🤣 although my last phone was a Galaxy S8+, I loved that phone.

Is it known what old models will receive battery % with 16.1 update? Not that I’m in huge need for it, just wondering. Would be a nice thing to have. I don’t see a reason why even “low resolution” XR couldn’t get it. Battery icon is so detailed I can’t see single pixels at any point. Could fit text in the icon easily.
