What really surprises me is that there isn't a setting to change it to fractions, they're not really a fan of metric measurements over there ;-)

Like, why? And you do it on and on in every single Apple article, just endless whining just about literally anything. It's annoying. I know I also comment on software support for Android, to which to my shock get tons of resistance from Android fans, because having long software support is apparently bad thing for them. For some reason. But our endless complaining and commenting of that improved things for Android phones, otherwise they'd still get 1 major update and a slap on the back and they'd be thankful for it. But that's very different than... checks notes.... non iPhone users whining over battery percentage iOS users got/will get. I just don't get it.

Do you... morethis has something to do with status too. in many places, iphone is a status symbol. be it quality or be it the price, many of them think, if you buy an iphone, it would make you look richer. almost everyone wants to look rich but buying an expensive car or house is out of range for most. the android phones start from 50 bucks upto 2000 while iphone start from around 400. this makes a big difference.
I personally have two iphones and an android- xperia 1. to be honest, I cant decide which one is better, but hardware wise, iphones are in general more reliable than android counterpart. my old 6s plus that i still have at home, never hung.

This is coming from people who owns an iPhone and Android phone at the same time and used it as daily drive. Yup, I always bring two phones wherever I go. One pocket is an iPhone and the other one is Android phone.

Also Android is mostly for poor people, it's just a fact and that's why Android phone sales are going heavily down because world situation and yet same time iPhone sales are really high.
Also most people who are willing to pay more for their phone choose iPhone. If you think how big Android smartphone share is and yet they hardly find buyers for their high-end phones from that share.

Other thing that they always repeat blindly is you never used an iPhone that's why you say android is better. It isn't true as well. I'm not poor and used iPhone as well. Simply a trash phone which makes simple tasks complicated.
