Xiaomi will switch to Mediatek for next Redmi Note series as well as Poco F series phone. It's over for custom rom community. Snapdragon will be exclusive to higher end phones which are out of budget now.

      Thats why I avoid vivo & oppo or any phones whose bootloader cannot be unlocked since you have no choice but to be stuck on their bloated OS.

      Good thing for xiaomi is they dont restrict you with their MIUI since you can unlock their bootloader & go custom rom anytime you like.

            my uncle just bragged his vivo y53s with 8gb of ram. even though i checked device info app and it shows it has helio g80🤣 he got tricked by vivo salesman wth. he supposed to get the poco x3 nfc but they are forcing him to take that y53s. now after his 6 months of usage, it lags and freezes. even he had 7 apps installed and 2 updates. he had only 200 photos and no videos. maybe its the reason why i dont buy phones for only ram size. i focus on chipset, storage, and screen resolution.

Plenty of my female colleagues trying to show off their knowledge of tech by telling me how they bought Vivo or Oppo with 8 GB RAM. Their phones mostly using SD662...

                            Basically this is just rebrand of Realme 9 Pro and Oneplus Nord CE 2 Lite for China. On another note, does the SD695 really benefit from 12GB of RAM?
