Still lot more expensive than Xiaomi latest fold which is a lot better device and still way more expensive than Motorola Razr which is also a lot better device in every single aspect.
So who cares there is a 200 or 100 discount???

Sanid, 18 Sep 2022I think It's all over the world not just here. Samsung... moreThats why you need to go to business school.

Most of foldables consumer dont care about money. They want phone with popular brand and great UI/UX. Even if xiaomi manages to create its foldables that costs 500USD cheaper than Z fold, trust me, most of people would either buy S series phone/tablet or iphone/ipad Pro.

unfortunately,I saw some reviewers start seeing dead pixels around the hinge in a few weeks of usage. I wonder how many years can these foldables be used without any screen problems. samsung must give an extended screen warranty upto 5 years to secure any production related misfunctions and relief any potential buyers. actually, samsung tested to see it is durable to fold 200.000 which is equal to folding more than 100 times a day for 5 years. I unlock my phone 60-70 times max in very busy days.

If Xiaomi released their foldables globally with Android 12L (or 13L if available), then suddenly the foldables will be much more approachable by the masses. Right now, it's only for snobs to be used as bragging rights, at least here in my country.

Let's see if Xiaomi will release their foldable globally next year, it will hurt Samsung so bad.

The sales people? Well, they're very over-eager and a bit aggressive, I might add.

In my country, I don't see many engagements in flip and fold twitter posts. People are sick of overpriced phones and bad Samsung after sale services.

Will Samsung change ? Probably not
