If space between camera and the face ID hardware is wasted, it should be single cutout, instead of two.

[deleted post]HEIF or HEIF image format will be available in more devices in the future including Androids.

Same as HEVC encoding is used for videos.

But Apple is way ahead of the industry because they have ProRes recording in their iPhones. ProRes is available only in expensive professional cameras like Nikon Z9.
Now only thing pending in iPhone is a thunderbolt 4 usb type-c port for faster wired prores video transfers and 4k@120fps video mode for the perfect cinematic slow motion effect.

I think Google should also provide some sort of RAW capabilities in their phones for video (it will be better if they collaborate with Black Magic or RED for raw format support rather than making their own, because of the software/hardware supporting these raw codecs are already there for red raw blackmagic raw and apple's prores raw).

[deleted post]People will always buy everything Apple makes. And spell words like security like optimization like support like updates like innovation... while in reality it is just great marketing and hype.

Unfortunately, in practice, there are plenty of people who email pictures from their iPhone to Windows users who then can't open the picture and require another photo viewer. It's really annoying but that's how tech works..

[deleted post]What "camera picture-format" ? HEIC? HEIC is superior to JPEG in every way. For compatibility, the moment you use "Share" button, it converts it to JPEG for max compatibility. From user perspective, there is basically no difference.

It's shame and annoying because Apple has ability to do so much more, but they don't because they know people will buy anything that has an Apple logo on it even if it's best choice at price range, Samsung is also going that rout sadly ever since Huawei got hit by USA ban.

"Full 48MP images through Apple ProRAW are available too."
I'd like to see some Lightroom 48 megapixel files. (It's actually 48.8)

Not really confirmed by Apple. It could be also Quad Pixel autofocus.

I love how the rest of the iPhone lineup doesn’t exist to people on GSMArena because of how bad of a deal they are compared to the 14 Pro Max lol
I guess get a vanilla 13 or 13 Pro if you don't want to pay up for the vanilla 14

I don’t know if you’ve heard the news but Americans tend to hate taxes. But that’s why my country sucks :)

Basically to have a physical sim model you have to pay around $300 USD extra compared to US’ E-SIM only in the EU.
                          Wow.
