Super Android 22, 20 Sep 2022Actually it's been proven multiple times including by ... moretheir sales not only come from marketing. people look for after sales channels and availability,too. huawei even does not have a proper OS so, P and Mate series faded in years. it must be easy to find a screen,speaker or motherboard replacement of a 3-4 year old flagship in every major city in the world. this requires and supply chain investment and is not an issue for samsung and apple.

aftersales support needs repair centers to be found in every major city which they aren't. software updates are not stable and refined. they entered many countries for the first time and they are using minor distributors. those distributors are not always reliable and can stop operations in a few years time. so,you may have difficulty using the warranty or spare parts with those expensive flagships.

Okay I can't wait to see this phone, Vivo has in last few years basically took Huawei's spot when it comes to cameras, I really think they can crush everyone with such a massive sensor.

25% is very significant difference. Also, by the logic, S series would fail too since Pro Max alone sells basically 2x the amount of S e Z series combines.

The s21 series for reference shipped 20-25 million. Not a Huge gap. Huawei sold 37 million devices between the mate 20 and p40 series. Also, Honor sales were nowhere near Huawei sales volumes in latter years anyway

Claiming vivo X series failed because did not sell as much as Galaxy S and iphones, is also saying huawei flagships failed too because they did not sell as much as galaxy S series.
Nobody here is talking about sub $400 phones. But flagships.

Best are Huawei, xiaomi and Oppo actually (find it funny when people slag then off for being chinese).
Samsung and apple sell well because they spend the most on advertising and monoploizing the industry by being able to offer companies better deals to customers (phone contracts and offers you get or tech shops pushing for their tablets and watches). In reality their products are highly overrated and over advertised.

If this phone may be announced in december, this means 80 Pro+ does not exist.
Does not make any sense for Vivo to announce phone in october or november if its successor will be for sale in China in mid/late january.
Basically 80 Pro is successor of 70 Pro+.

Also, what is after sales experience according to you? Warranty? Everybody phone has it, if you had a bad experience with a shop is not the brands fault. Updates? It has it. Oh, you want them to call you if you had a good day?
