Windows phone is a future for nokia. Android is a great OS but over saturated by OEMs and no. of devices. Samsung is undisputed king. What great thing about samsung is not about market share but about huge profit despite intense competition. Its largely attributed by in house manufacturing of major components like display.
Nokia is now samsung of windows phone with whooping 76% market share. Even if windows phone is smaller ecosystem for a time being, it holds more potential than iOS and blackberry. Even if it lacks on many things than android, it has own set of advantages like more appeal to entreprise users due to tight integration of microsoft office suite n other enterprise services.
Holding majority of market share on emerging ecosystem backed by software giant microsoft and focussing and investing resourses solely on it is a anytime a better strategy than jumping into already crowded ecosystem. And nokia has differentiated itself enough and positioned itself in such a way that it will be hard for any manufacturer including samsung to challenge nokia in future in windows phone ecosystem. By saying positioned itself, i mean and want to highlight a fact that today, nokia lumia is a more popular brand and searched term on internet than windows phone itself. This is the smartest move by nokia ever in recent time.

fanboyz stop hating wp8. Any person have different needs..I dont like a grey-silver samsung because everyone got one. And i dont want the awkward android ui..it looks very old and uninspired. If you dont like wp it is ok. no one forced you to change opinion. I will go with wp cause i like people hub, i like its intergations of everything and i like its classy ui. I use windows pc and not linux so i like wp more than androids thats it!
I hope wp go well because i need an os that looks like it. If there was no wp i would go for android ofc but as long as it exists i will support it.
As for brands, lg and samsung are korean and i dont like them. Sony whould be my choise on the android os and nokia on any os they ever go because they are the oldest mobile firm and my first phone was nokia and not a sylver samsung..

I am patiently waiting for the Lumia 1000 PureView, that is without any doubt gonna be the phone of the year . A damn 41 megapixel on a Lumia ! Can you beat that ?

But tests have shown that without similar hardware specs Lumia 920 with W8 speed and performace often matches and sometimes surpasses the Samsungs mentioned. I have my preferences but I say the more options, the better for consumers

I can tell it by saying the Nokia has changed the design language for Lumia in terms of placing the Nokia Brand name at the side, not at the middle.

The Lumia 710 was an exceptionally well featured mobile for its price at launch offering nearly all the features of the Lumia 800 which was twice the price. If the new 720 is priced keenly it should very well.

AnonD-84946, 23 Feb 2013Nokia's support, their exclusives ,their hardware, their pu... morei was and still a Nokia fan but with respect to software and hardware i never seen a phone more awesome than note 2 and S3 ( Smooth as ... ), Nokia's build quality and camera performance is amazing but with respect to hardware not much ( WP doesn't need quad core processor( CPU and GPU ), it could run smoothly with a single core true ) but as long as games and other apps keep improving , in time it will need more than a quad core processor.
right now they are working on ubuntu can't wait to add it on my Note 2 ( This should be awesome ) :D
