Samsung Dex or Any Android phone with video out features don't support 4k 60hz yet because of bandwidth limitation (even wired) so USB 4 and faster wifi is really needed here.

and dont cram, streaming isnt just from internet to your device, to my case i meant streaming video you took with your phone or camera, raw 8k video can take over 10gbps of bandwidth, as of now no wifi can stream 8k video which is uncompressed. unless your tv has 8k camera and you walk with your tv everywhere you will need your phone to stream those videos to tv or any big display.

Your suggestion to use a phone to stream 8K videos using Wi-Fi 7 and output the stream to a TV that supports Wi-Fi 7 or uses a wired connection is ludicrous. Only idiots will do that. You didn't answer my question. Why don't you stream 8K videos directly to your TV?

Its advisable to use ethernet for things which you dont move frequently like tv, Desktop etc, and as long as those ethernet come from the router its same network as your wifi. If you share anything with your wifi it can reach devices with ethernet too. This is like basic thing for anyone who stream at home.

If your TV supports Wi-Fi 7, why don't you stream 8K videos to your TV directly? Also, if you use an ethernet cable to connect to the Internet, Wi-Fi isn't used. Wi-Fi is for wireless connections.

also you are wrong you can share to tv even if tv doesnt support wifi 7, just router has to support wifi 7 and from router to tv you can use ethernet cable.
