Was thinking if we really need "dynamic island" . Personally i think better under display camera quality is much better option

In the time where phone manufacturers doing wars to achieve the most full-screen experience, i wonder why Xiaomi even did this?
It doesn't pack special face recognition features, even the two cameras looks far away to each other, making the island bigger.
Any good reason for it?

I wonder why they had flash for selfie camera on note 5 pro and dont use it anymore. I have seen this double camera done before too on other brands. This think looks exactly as dumb as on iphone but in smaller scale. For iphone it's just big hole in the screen that made the notch even bigger cause the screen space between the pill and top edge have no use other then like RPG lighting and that pill is moved down so it's back on the same size as the first notch on iphones.
Anyway where is this Civi even released ? I dont think the Civi 1 even made it's way to EU and staid in China like K series or was specially for India market.
I just hope none of this come on other Xiaomi phones but then again i dont really care as i am waiting still for something more compact before i buy new phone so my note 5 Pro EU version as AI dual cam works fine for now and i dont want to buy new phone that is same size or larger just to have it perform better. Also i can understand the cam hole for middle or in corner and dont see a lot of problems in it but i would prefer a popup or under display cam as i hardly ever use it anyways. In 4 years and something 4-5 months i have used that phone i probably have made skype calls with it like at most maximum 5 times. Also i dont think i even have done selfie pics more then 10 times.
While i have used the selfie cam a lot cause of the flash to see in a places with it like a tight space for suspended ceiling or something like that where is enough space to slip the phone top in with the flash on and selfie cam on to see whats there. It's a useful tool this way

A beautifully designed phone gor those who value design and selfie more than other details.
This is good from Xiaomi. I like this approach of putting different types of priorities into different models.

Most phones camera sensors are by Sony. Most phones have modem by Qualcomm. Every organisation needs other organisations for success.
And don't talk about copying. Samsung is the king of copying. They copy everything from Apple to compete. Apple sued Samsung many times. Still some cases are going on. Most of them settled by both of them coming to understanding and dropping. Samsung has paid Apple more money for cases than Apple buying stuff from Samsung.
So there is no one innovator. Everyone should be appreciated.

Rosso, 23 Sep 2022Literally even tech YouTubers who use Apple tech admit Appl... morei personally think that one of the reason why tech innovations that already being used in android aren't thoroughly implemented in the recent iphone is because apple still released their ios for older generations up to 5 or 6 years after launching. that's why apple can't provided much complicated technology in their system so that older devices can still run the latest update very well. by any means, that's a great experience though, especially for those who want to keep their smartphone for a longer time but will be an issue for those who change their device regularly.
