But, the fact that they realize the bugs were there and fix them in 1 week, is also very nice.
Those cheap Xiaomi phones you speak of, fix the bugs after months, or they don't fix them at all in some cases. You will just need to accept it, or just sell the phone and buy the next model available. I never had a Chinese phone for more than 6 months. And in some really bad cases, I change them even in 2-3 months. The good part, is that there will always be the next cheap model available for purchase. And you don't loose too much money after 3 months. The worse part is that you don't trust them anymore.

People here argued about iOS update. I'll bet their Android phone received the same update too hence the argument here. I didn't know android phone so advance it can update iOS 😳

What matters is how quickly you acknowledged and fixed.
For ex: Samsung recalled all note 7 units for fire incidents.
And these redmi, OnePlus units which are exploding and they are just ignoring.

Considering the fact the update covers at least five years of production, including old devices after repair, it's nothing. If any android company (and chinese mainly) did that, half of the older production would stop working.

Also software bugs exist everywhere, it is by far not a smartphone issue only.

Yeah, iPhones are expensive, but I think Androids may be getting a bit wild in terms of pricing. Some flagships are starting to go about $50-$100 more than pro max iPhone models. It’s freaky.

Wow so many bugs for $1000 phones.. yet some people complaining many bugs and ads on $100 Xiaomi. I know Apple fast for fix it, but how can it happen for super expensive and their best phone there are bugs?
