Absolutely fantastic phone in this range. Battery backup is awesome 4gb ram is enough. Rom can be expandable up 1 tb.

There are 2 reasons I wont buy this phone - 1. am not really internet ordering type and this is not sold in my area 2. I would never match the coolness of tha pink leather jacket dude!

The only real issue with Tecno phones that has been discussed here is bloatware. Everything else is probably posted by armchair "experts" who know nothing about the phones. I used Tecno Camon 12 (or thereabout) and wished for the earlier phantoms. For the price ranges, they are very good. They have also improved a bunch. I am using a Redmi Note 9 pro and for sure, it is unashamedly accessible to third parties. I even recorded a video of it opening and closing sensitive apps by itself.

rizki1, 23 Sep 2022Android 12 there, I see the last 8 out of 10 new Tecno phon... moreif tecno lets you to throw custom rom, it wouldnt be a problem. and less bloatware. but since it has mediatek chip, i am not quite sure if it works. its a hit or miss.

Why dont they use Dimensity 720, 800 or 800u instead not that crap 810 that is just a boosted cpu of 700.

While the specs are beastly for the price (I emphasize spec-to-price ratio here), the problem lies in their software (which is bloated) and the screen color calibration (which is wayyyyy too off). Screen is an integral factor since this is what we stare at always, and has hindered me in buying Transsion products (at least, recently).
Knew all of this because I have used like 3 phones from them. Color is really bad, but performance-wise, they are good.
Oh also signal reception is bad too.

Probably same dim display if not worse than Pova 5G .. when outdoor in sunlight, display viewing becomes impossible !

Umm, that phone looked SICK.
The specs are uninspiring, but that's expected from Tecno and a 190 dollar phone.
But that phone gives me F-117 Nighthawk vibes with the flat yet angled panes. It looks GREAT. If someone who made better phones copied the design language of this, I would buy it for the looks alone.
