hmm, 26 Sep 2022When the market is full of big and bigger it's odd to ... moreWelp, it's more like y'all saying dumb stuffs than I actually did. Not everyone wants small phones, there are a lot of people who want big phones (not just normal big phone but like, humongous phones like the Mate 20X, etc.), plus with the price tag of around ~$200-300, it's hard to cramp everything into a small form factor, and making a bigger phone is the best way to do it.

Spanky, 26 Sep 2022I wonder how much longer OEMs can milk the Snapdragon 870. 😒I'd be way more than happy to have 870/875+/865 over tbe current 8+/8 Gen 1 and even 888+/888. 870/865+/865 is where Qualcomm got the performance-per-efficiency spot on. The LG V60 is a perfect example - it can easily shoot 8K HDR10 video for hours without having the temperature going beyond 50°C and crashed during the recording. Trying doing that on newer Snapdragon flagship SoC.

It's still a flagship chip that now is in a budget to middle class phones the best chip on the market. No sd 6xx or 7xx compete with it and mostly cause of the graphics card it has

Aan2007, 26 Sep 2022SD870 for 230USD? That's really insane price especiall... moreYeah all specs are nice and price also. I dont even much care for the brand or update schedule. But the biggest downside for it is that it's a tablet. If the screen size be a 6.28 inch i would go with it as there for it be something between 150-155mm tall. Under screen selfie cam is good too as there for no holes or notches that pretty much is dead screen.

that is why i still have not upgraded my work phone from 2020... they are actually made a good decision, no thermal problems as sd888 and sd8g1 and their variants...

Considering that this is just a software refresh on a one-year-old phone, I'm not surprised by the price decrease. Everything else just remains the same. Makes me wonder if ZTE will ever give a major OS update to the standard Axon 30.

There has to be a catch somewhere, this is way too good. Zte killing the udc game though. How is other big brands not able to implement udc in their midrangers at least, their selfie cams suck anyway.
