While I love my Xiaomi mi9 I am put off changing to another Xiaomi because of the sheer amount of models it puts out! Why can't Xiaomi just have an easy system of recognition rather than having, what seems like, hundreds of models - all with different names and configurations? Makes the brand seem very Chinese cheap.....

Everyone's arguing about OS Updates, meanwhile I am here wondering why manufacturers are shipping out gigantic phones for no reason - it's perfectly fine to launch phones with 6 inch and below screen sizes too!

This android os updates thing is just a fad. It's a placebo that tries to convince consumers they're getting better value for their money. It's like the difference between windows 10 and window 11. It's insignificant.

SShock, 27 Sep 2022It should be forbidden to launch new phone with Android 12 ... moreandroid 12 is still good in 2022. consider the os was released in 2021, its still a year old. can said the same to android 11. depends on most cases. budget phones cant run those properly. it just lags like midrange samsung from 2015. let alone the android go version. which essentially a 32bit version of full android. lack of app support neither.

Its really too much redmi. You need to stop this type of variants same series. You xiaomi literally mad to do this. One time i highly referred to buy Xiaomi but recent their disgusting launching system is too poor and obsessed. I dont anyone referred her buy xiaomi phone.

It should be forbidden to launch new phone with Android 12 when Android 13 has been officially out for ages now. Xiaomi keeps doing this crap.
Also endless rehasing of same phones under different names. It’s absurd.

Untill they bring back a decent macro camera I'll be buying replacement redmi note 10 pro's ...... I've yet to see a release from Xiaomi that does as much for me as this phone!
